With over 20 years in information technology and 15 years driving sustainability through green technology, Steven leverages his broad experience and expertise to create environmental solutions. He promotes environmental stewardship and has helped numerous organizations adopt sustainable practices. Passionate for a sustainable future, Steven helps develop innovative solutions that deliver successful outcomes while adhering to green principles. Steven holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Development Management from the Jeffrey Sachs Center on Sustainable Development, Sunway University – enabling him to integrate sustainability principles into project and policy decisions. He also holds multiple specialized sustainability certifications, such as ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas Inventory Lead Verifier, ISO 20121 Sustainable Events Lead Auditor, GPMb Project Management Professional, GBI Facilitator, GreenRE Accredited Professional, as well as a Registered Trainer with the Human Resources Development Corporation. Steven is an expert in greenhouse gas accounting, corporate sustainability reporting, decarbonization strategies, energy efficiency and renewable energy, Circular Economy and waste minimization, etc. As a GPM360 Registered Consultant and Assessor, he evaluates development projects against rigorous criteria to award green project certifications. Steven has expertise across green building standards and has been involved in the certification of over a dozen high-profile projects, including Setia City Mall, the Penang Second Bridge, Plaza Equatorial, and TRX Exchange 106. As the President of ESG Malaysia, Steven often speaks on major sustainability topics at conferences and seminars as part of his passion to share knowledge and advance sustainable best practices at organizations worldwide. These include Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), greenhouse gas emissions and Net Zero strategies, climate resilience, and corporate sustainability initiatives to provide guidance to business leaders on best practices for transparent ESG disclosures, decarbonization pathways, and impactful partnerships to advance sustainable development goals.
